SOS Rehearsals
In order to keep in compliance with social distancing policies and for the safety of our kids, we’ll be rehearsing and presenting our shows through our new online format: SOS AT HOME! We will be working with ZOOM meetings and our SOS Vimeo channel creating fun and active programs that feature the songs, dances and scripts from the shows plus some fun surprises each day.
Scripts, songs, rehearsal tracks and videos will all be available on our newly added website: SOS Rehearsals. You’ll be able to download pdf files of the script and audition sides, mp3 recordings of the songs and link with our SOS Vimeo channel for production videos. Also, our ZOOM meeting link will be posted so you can easily zoom into the rehearsals.
How does SOS put together a musical remotely?
Rehearsals will be through Zoom Meetings. Students will rehearse with a Director, Music Director and Choreographer in separate breakout rooms for 5 sessions. The next 3 sessions will record their performances. Then the zoom scenes and audio recordings will be professionally edited into a performance video that will be shown at a viewing party on the final day. The video will also be posted on our website for additional audience viewings.
